Only authorized employees and service providers with a legitimate business need are granted access to personal data, and such access is further restricted by role-based permissions. All sensitive data, including account credentials, Social Security numbers, and personally identifiable information, is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Passwords and PINs are encrypted in such a way that they cannot be recovered, even by us, and all backup drives and storage media are encrypted as well.
We employ proactive fraud detection and monitoring systems—both automated and manual—that continuously analyze account activity for signs of suspicious or unauthorized behavior. If unusual activity is detected, we may alert you promptly and take immediate action to protect your account. For added security, we utilize multi-factor authentication (MFA), requiring customers to verify their identity using both something they know (such as a password) and something they have (such as a one-time verification code sent to a registered device or email address) before granting account access. Accounts are also protected with automatic sign-out features and identity verification protocols for sensitive actions.
